Paul Bordeleau
was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 14, 1924.  He earned a Bachelor's of Music Composition degree from the New England Conservatory of Music (1953) and a Masters of Music Education Degree from Boston University (1954) where he also undertook doctoral studies.


Paul was music director in Massachusetts Public Schools for 15 years, and has been on the faculty of St. Mary's Seminary, Framingham, MA, Franklin Pierce College, Rindge, NH and Hawthorne College, Hudson, NH Campus. Both Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH (1974-1978) and Baylor University in Waco, TX (1979) named him Organ Workshop Director.


Paul is a certified teacher by the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association and has been granted the Emeritus Certificate in Piano by the Music Teachers National Association.  He is also internationally certified by the Keyboard Teachers Association International, as well as a past President of the organization.  He is also past President of the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association.


Paul has had many musical articles published by music magazines not only in the United States, but also in Germany and Australia.  He is also a composer and is co-author with his wife Wilma of the series Fun and Play at the Keyboards, published by Borkey. His latest method book series is Keyboard Player's Guide to Reading Music, which is the curriculum used at Pianoarts.


He was the recipient of the Special Teacher Award in 1976, 1977 and 1982 at the Yamaha Electone Festivals.  "Keyboard World" Magazine presented an award to Paul in August 1977 at the King-of-Prussia, Pennsylvania Organ Festival for his outstanding contribution to the keyboard industry.
